Ellen Kling spent the first half of her childhood in a forest by the sea in New Hampshire. She climbed trees, crafted people out of paper towel tubes, and got poison ivy on a regular basis. The rest of her growing years were spent in Lexington Kentucky, where she currently resides.

She graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in May 2009 with a BFA in graphic design and illustration. When she's not working, she enjoys bicycling and eating too much fruit (respectively).
